I am a beginner at this and bought my first SLR this spring (2009), a Canon EOS 50D with a Canon EF 70-200/F4 L IS USM telezoom, and a Sigma AF 17-70/2.8-4.5 DC OS HSM normal zoom with macro.
I am happy with this setup, but it has its limitations 😥.
My dream is a Canon Ef 500/4.0 IS USM, but .......... sooooo expensive!!
Maybe I'll settle for a Canon Ef 400/5.6L USM ? 🙃
